It can be tricky at first to be able to tell your newborn twins apart. You  have to know that no matter how identical twins are, they have different personalities and you will soon get to know them using their personalities. However in the early days it may confusing trying to tell them apart. There are ways to help you minimize the confusion.

• You can use unique features such as moles, freckles  and birth marks
• You can also use nail polish to make a tiny mark  on the nails of one baby .
• You can use an anklet or different bracelets on each baby.
• Dress the twins in different colors or patterns. This will give you a quick visual cue.
• Get to know each twins individually and  notice the differences between their mannerism, physical movement and facial expressions.
