How to reduce your child’s likelihood of being overweight.

  1. Include some sort of physical activity into your child’s life :  Many preschoolers spend lots of hours in front of  the TV or computer screen all day instead of playing outside. It is important to reduce the time spent behind screen and  do some sort of activities like walking around or even playing ball .Choose activities that are fun . Kids wont do something they don’t enjoy.
  2. Make physical activity a priority even if your child is not overweight :  It is around these preschool years that the child needs to develop her motor skills , improve his coordination and play games and sports with greater skill. Make activities easy by providing your chid with equipments  and take them to the playground and other active spots.
  3. Try and turn family time into physical activity time : Instead of watching movies during family time, you can decide to take the whole family on a hike in the hills near the home.
