What beauty treatments should be avoided during pregnancy

Pregnancy hormones can take over your body and make your body darken, overly dry or oily  and prone to breakouts. These hormones can also make you  hairier than you already are and result in hair in many unwanted places. However you have to know that this is temporary and think about the health of your baby. These beauty treatments  should be avoided during pregnancy.

  • chemical peels or facials that contain salicylic and lactic acid
  • laser hair removal
  • topical prescription creams
  • botox injections
  • latisse ( eyelash lengthening cream)
  • any exfoliating acid face washes or moisturizers
