Are some of my organs moved outside the body during a c-section ?

During a c-section the only organ that is temporarily affected is the uterus. However you have to know that every surgeon performs surgery in a different way and every birth is unique.

c-section

During a cesarean section, the intestines and the bladder are just push outside but still within the abdominal cavity. This is done so that the doctor sees better and reach the uterus .The uterus on the other hand is usually brought  partway outside the body after the surgery. This allows the surgeon to have a look at the incision that was made in the uterus and make sure that it is properly repaired.

In rare cases, the intestines may need to be lifted out of the body if damage was done to it during the procedure and needs attention.

The fallopian tubes are attached to the uterus . As a result if the upper part of the uterus is brought outside the body, they tubes are too. Some women schedule tying of their tubes after a cesarean section.
