Boys and potty training

Most parents wonder if they should potty train boys to urinate standing up or sitting down. Most potty training experts advise that you potty train a child to urinate sitting down. This will help make it easy when teaching them both to urinate and have a bowel movement sitting down.

You should first potty train your child sitting down. Once he has mastered potty training for both urinating and bowel movement , the you can teach him to urinate standing up. The penis of little boys are small and usually points straight out. Boys usually pee on the back of the toilet or miss the bowl completely.  If the child is distracted , the urine will  end up on the floor or wall. So for now just let him master potty training sitting down.
