How your 8 week old baby is growing

Your  baby will start growing fast from this time on. He is also getting stronger and practicing more head control. He may be able to hold his  head up for a few minutes. Your baby’s focus is also getting better. You will notice that he  will be glancing at his hands too.  Understanding that it is his  hand and that he  can use it is his  first step to grasping things. Your 8 week old baby  is a better listener now and can differentiate between familiar voices.

Your life

By this time , you are quite confident with being  a new mom even though you may still be very exhausted.  It will help to rest when baby sleep during the day. If you have other kids too, you can get help from friends and family while you rest.

Your 8 week old baby is due for her first immunization this months. This is a process that will last for 5 years and protect the baby against some infectious diseases.
