How your 6 week old baby is growing

Your 6 week old baby recognizes you and your partner and prefers you to strangers. She may coo with pleasure when she sees you. The more you play and interact with your baby, the greater your chance of seeing her first smile. Your baby is also more aware of her environment. She may get fascinated at the sound of music. She will interract  with toys around her.

Your life

By now , you beginning to get use to the demands of motherhood.You will have a postnatal checkup around this time. Your doctor will check to see if everything is fine. He will  discuss contraception and find out if you getting enough sleep and support.

You may now be ready for intimacy if you haven’t already started.  It may also be too soon for  you. Discuss you fears and concerns with your pratner.
